Colored Aluminum Earrings with Carolyn Thom

Create these colorful, light weight earrings from anodized aluminum and silver. You will color the metal yourself with markers and stamps. Then learn how to texture and patina metal and use cold connections such as riveting and tube riveting. Make a pair for every outfit in your closet! Beginners welcome.

 

For your convenience materials may be purchased from the instructor for $20 per pair or purchase your own in advance of the class. Anodized aluminum will be provided by the instructor. Other materials include 2”x2” or 2”x4” 22-24 gauge copper, brass, or sterling silver sheet, Jeweler’s saw with #2 blade, Ear wires, 2-4 head pins, Sharpie fine point pens in several colors, “Stays-On” black ink pad.
