Free Event! Show and Tell + Printmaking Demo with Karen Fiorito

Join us for an hour-long FREE Show and Tell + Demo on the art of printmaking with Karen Fiorito. Karen will talk about various printmaking processes: silk screen, relief, photo-etching, cyanotypes, monotypes and more! Karen Fiorito is a California artist, curator and printmaker. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally and featured in major publications such as Art in America, Hyperallergic, Artforum and ArtNews. Her prints are in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Center for the Study of Political Graphics, the US Forest Service and Self Help Graphics. She holds a M.F.A. in Printmaking from Arizona State University and a B.F.A. in Printmaking from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is the President of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society (laprintmakingsociety.org) and a Board Member at TAG Gallery in Los Angeles (taggallery.net).
