About the event
Kids + Parents: Come together with a playful spirit and a willingness to get your hands muddy. Join instructor Maggie Skidmore in this special opportunity for you and your child to play with clay together and make some fun and beautiful ceramics pieces. No experience necessary.
We'll have the opportunity to "throw" clay on a potter’s wheel to make vessels like bowls, cups, or pots. Maggie will teach coiling, pinch pots, slab construction, as well as glazing your art to prepare it for being fired in a kiln. Maggie will provide project ideas, but you’ll have the freedom to create your own art....together!
This is not a drop-off class. One adult is required to attend with the minor student(s).
Class is limited to 12 people. Materials Fee: you will need to purchase a bag of clay to share. Price approx. $20+.
