About the event

Learn to create luminous watercolor paintings through strong values, color harmony, and techniques that bring light to the page with artist Helen Shafer Garcia. Over four weeks, students will practice transparency, negative painting, pigment mixing, glazing, and thoughtful composition while working from still life and botanical subjects—with a touch of whimsy and the addition of gouache for richness.
