About the event

Inspiration and process will be our guide to explore watercolor techniques in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Contemporary experimental painting techniques including, pours, negative painting, mark making and surface textures to create glaze layers in exploratory flora and fauna compositions. Pigment characteristics, color theory, composition, and design will also be covered with demos, critiques and individual instruction.
Supply list will be available upon registration and you'll be provided with Helen's email should you have questions regarding supplies. Bring these supplies the first day of class: 1 sheet of Arches 140lb cold pressed watercolor paper- cut into quarters or a watercolor block 11” x 15” or larger, 1 # 12 or 14 round watercolor brush, watercolor paints you already have on hand, palette, water container.
