About the event

Discover the magic of one of the oldest photographic techniques in this hands-on workshop with artist Karen Fiorito. Using the power of sunlight and a simple chemical process, you'll create striking blue-and-white prints from everyday objects, found materials, and digital negatives. You'll learn how to mix the chemistry, compose your images, and even experiment with toning your prints using natural tannins like tea or coffee for a warm, vintage look.
Students are encouraged to bring their own objects or film negatives to personalize their prints. All materials—including cyanotype chemistry and paper—are provided. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy a creative afternoon immersed in the art of solar printing.
Register early to ensure your place in the class. Refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the class or workshop (less a $25 administration fee per person). If you cannot make your class or workshop, please call or email us…
