About the event

Discover a unique cross-disciplinary experience that brings ceramics and fused glass together. In this two-part workshop, students will design and build their own ceramic mold, then use that mold to create a one-of-a-kind three-dimensional glass artwork.
In Part One, ceramic artist Kody Barnes guides you through shaping and forming your custom mold using clay. Once completed, your mold will be fired and prepared for glass casting.
In Part Two, glass artist Randall Reese leads you through the process of filling and firing your mold to create a sculptural glass piece that reflects your vision and craftsmanship.
Whether you’re new to clay, glass, or both, this collaborative workshop is an inspiring way to explore how these two art forms intersect—and to take home a truly original 3D glass creation.
Please note there is a $10 Supply Fee due at the time of class.
