About the event
Completely new to ceramics? This is the class for you! Join Instructor Corinna Laird as she will introduce you to the wonderful world of all things clay. Explore handbuilding, learn to use a pottery wheel (AKA "throwing") and discuss glazing techniques. Perfect for those just beginning their clay journey, or students who may need a refresh! Corinna creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere and you'll be throwing and sculpting in no time!
Each student may create up to 6 pieces of average size (ask your Instructor for guidance) to be bisque and glaze-fired per six-week session. Additional pieces may be subject to firing fees (some restrictions apply). We do not accept premade ceramic art, outside clay or glaze - this maintains the integrity of everyone's work. Please speak with your instructor if you have questions. We do not offer prorated days, substitutions or make-up classes. Clay MUST be purchased at FSA.…
