Thursday PM: Laird

Come and explore the world of ceramics with instructor  Corinna Laird . All are welcome--from fresh beginners to old hands. New students will be guided to learn foundational skills and to choose projects. More experienced students can focus on their areas of interest and learn new techniques. Instruction in both hand-building and wheel throwing will be offered. Students may choose one or the other or do both. So many possibilities! This class is formerly known as Intro to Clay. Please bring an old towel, a sense of humor, and your desire to create. Important Information: Clay not included—must be purchased onsite (several varieties available, starting at $20 per 25-lb bag) • Up to 5 average-size pieces (about 1 cubic foot) fired per 4-week session; additional pieces may incur firing fees • We do not accept outside clay, glaze, or premade ceramic work • No prorated days, substitutions, or make-up classes.
