About the event
Join us at the Fallbrook School of the Arts for an inspiring evening with Kazuki Takizawa, a Los Angeles–based glass artist internationally known for using glass as a platform to explore and destigmatize mental health.
Kazuki will speak about how his personal experiences with bipolar disorder inform his artwork—powerful vessels and installations that give form to emotion, healing, and human connection.
Following the talk, Kazuki will present a live glassblowing demonstration, where you'll see his expressive process unfold in real time. During the demo, the piece Kazuki creates will be auctioned live, giving one lucky attendee the chance to take home an original work made on site. Plus, all guests will have the chance to participate in an opportunity drawing for a private one-hour hot shop lesson with a member of the Fallbrook School of the Arts glass team.
