About the event

Explore the painterly side of screen printing in this dynamic, one-day workshop. Unlike traditional screen printing, mono-screen printing uses an open mesh screen to create one-of-a-kind prints full of texture, spontaneity, and color. You’ll learn how to tape off your screen, cut custom stencils, and work directly on the mesh using water-based media like Caran d’Ache crayons, watercolor, and ink.
Instructor Karen Fiorito will guide you through the entire process—from your first layer to your final ghost print—and show you how to build up beautiful, expressive prints through multiple layers.
No experience needed. All materials are provided, and students are welcome to bring a sack lunch to enjoy during the mid-day break.
Refunds (minus a $25 administration fee) or credit transfers to another class are available up to 14 days before the start date; after that, refunds or credits are not offered. For multi-session classes such as ceramics, missed days…
