Arida had a needle and thread in her hands before she started kindergarten, eagerly absorbing the knowledge passed down from her mother and grandmother. She didn’t limit herself to yarn and thread—Arida explored every craft she could, with wildly amusing degrees of success.

Believing she lacked the discipline for a creative career, she initially pursued biology. But the alignment between her work and her well-being never quite clicked. Returning to her creative roots, she now feels brave enough to follow her happiness full-time.

Arida hopes to inspire the same passion and confidence in her students and community. A firm believer in practicing well-being through creativity, she also teaches yoga, cooks up a storm, and tickles the ol’ piano.
