Attending Phoenix College and Arizona State University, N. Dixon Fish holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts. His MFA thesis and exhibition was based on an exploration of visual ambiguity. Dixon taught studio art, art history and photography at El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California for over 30 years. Although his past artwork includes painting and theatre scenic design, Dixon has always been interested in printmaking. Now that he has an etching press in his studio, printmaking is the major focus of his work. His art has been recognized with awards both regionally and nationally. He is a member of the Los Angeles Society of Printmakers.
