Makayla is a native Fallbrookian where nature is her favorite teacher, biggest inspiration, and safest haven at any given time. This shows in her art and how she serves/supports others. Makayla has been doing pyrography (wood burning) for about 3 years now and continues to explore different ways of capturing the natural world through this medium. Makayla curiously uses acrylic paint, beads, crystals, and recycled materials to adorn her pieces; showing that the world of pyrography is truly limitless! Pyrography isn’t the only medium that Makayla loves to use to reflect her adoration for nature; photography, embroidery, dancing, and flower pressing are her other avenues of expression.
