⭐Bilingual Instructor
Sandra Orozco, autodidacta artist and designer (a self-taught artist), originally from Michoacán, Mexico, and current resident of Rainbow, is a visionary artist who combines innovation and ancient techniques such as textile art, feather work, macrame, crochet, weaving, and embroidery to create art that celebrates her culture and traditions with love and passion.
Her inspiration focuses on the use of sustainable materials and the preservation of artisanal techniques learned from the women of her community and family, demonstrating that creativity can transform the word. With a passion that has inspired her since childhood, Sandra is now a mentoring artist inspiring others to see the potential in found and discarded materials to create a more sustainable future full of hope and beauty.
You can see some of her work in the Fallbrook Art Center store and shows. Part of her work is also to design and collaborate with other artist and creating unique pieces that help to continue preserving the ancestral techniques of artisans. You can find these pieces at the online store of orozcdesigns.com and soon Sandra will be one of the collaborators at the Fallbrook School of The Arts.
