Giving Tuesday and FSA

There is something about this time of year that evokes a strong desire to give. Maybe it’s the “reason for the season” or the fact that we sprint from January to “the holiday season” when we finally take the time to slow down and feel what is most important to us. Either way, FSA would like to say thank you.  Thank you for your continued support of our program.  Today is GIVING TUESDAY, which originally began as a way to show support for activism. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday quickly grew into a worldwide day of giving to the nonprofit(s) of your choice.

We know there are many worthy nonprofits to give to and we hope we are one of those that is at the top of your list. Our program’s main source of income is donations. While the program is quickly growing, we still depend on donors to make contributions at all levels to help us thrive.  2025 will be a busy, thriving year for us.  We have many classes, workshops, guest artist events and series planned to help give you a holistic art experience.

If you or your family has been impacted by FSA and feels like you’d like to donate to our future, please feel free to give in any of the following ways:

  • Gift Certificates – Instead of the same old amazon gift for your family member, why not give the gift of learning and creating? We have certificates to purchase in any amount. The recipient has a full year to use it on one or more classes, workshops or events. (Some restrictions apply.)

  • Unrestricted donations – You can give in any amount for us to use how we see fit.  Any donation over $500 includes perks like VIP tickets to our events, entrance into the gallery, etc.

  • Restricted donations – If you want us to use your donation for a specific purpose, such as a piece of equipment in the studio you spend most of your time in, or, for example, our outdoor stage, you can specify at the time of your giving, and we will earmark your donation for that specific purpose.

  • Art Supplies and Equipment – Do you have art supplies or equipment that you no longer use and that we can use?  We love donations that directly affect our operations. Please call me to discuss before you load it into your vehicle.

  • Volunteer Hours – If time is all you have to give, we’ll take it! Let us know if helping us out at various times during the week would be something you are interested in for the new year.

  • Scholarships – These are designated for kids in our community that do not have the means to take classes here.  Each scholarship is $175 and covers the costs of a class and any supplies needed for the class.

We know there are so many worthy nonprofits to give your money to and we appreciate you thinking of us, no matter what.  Happy Giving Tuesday!
