Happy Holidays from all of us at FSA to you and yours! As you celebrate this season, please know that we are busy creating an even bigger, better program for you in 2025! We have already added more classes such as Foundations of Creative Writing, Saturday Clay, Poetry in Print and many more workshops. Every service line is growing with more instructors and offerings. There will be more guest artist demos and interviews like the one we had to introduce our new woodturning program with Ernesto Aquino. We have also added an array of accessible
programming so you can try something out before you commit (we all know how commitment can freak us out, am I right?)
Also in 2025, we are getting a “glow up” by way of a new website. Our website will be easier to use and will allow you to register without entering all your information every single time! (Can I get a hallelujah?) You will be able to sign up for all the classes you want at one time and there is even a social aspect that allows you to get in touch with your instructor!
As you prepare for this holiday, remember that most of us don’t need more stuff. What we need is an experience. What we need is connection. At FSA, we offer both. Our art community is collaborative, positive, nurturing and super fun so, if you are still in need of a gift, we have beautiful gift certificates perfect for any budget.

Last weekend, we had our instructor party. It was the most fun I have had in ages. Dixon Fish won the ugliest sweater contest, but I have to say, his sweater was not really ugly! It was more…jingly. We also had a white elephant gift exchange and if you think your family or coworkers are rough, get a bunch of artists involved! The theme was homemade or handmade. I strongly encourage you to think about that theme next year because the gifts were amazing and beautiful and meaningful.
I am so grateful for my staff and instructors. They have elevated our program and are eager to serve you all next year. While we will not be offering classes and our office is closed, I will be hanging around so if there is something you need help with, or need to ask a question, email us or call me. We open back up for classes on Saturday, January 4. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us to all of you! Cheers to an artistically creative 2025!
