About the event
Join us for all things clay! This four-week course is ideal for beginners as well as those with experience - all levels are welcome. Students can work independently, or Instructor Adam Bishop can suggest skill-building projects to help you achieve success in the studio. This class will explore both functional as well as artistic creativity in working with clay, glaze and fire. You have the opportunity to work on the potter's wheel, learn hand-building techniques and sculpture. INSTRUCTOR SUBSTITUTION NOTICE FOR JUNE: Kody Barnes will be substituting for Adam Bishop for the June 1 to June 27 Session. Important Information: Clay not included. Clay must be purchased onsite (several varieties available, starting at $20 per 25-lb bag.)
• Up to 5 average-size pieces (about 1 cubic foot) fired per 4-week session; additional pieces may incur firing fees.
• We do not accept outside clay, glaze, or premade ceramic work.
