Adam Bishop is a professor who teaches English and creative writing at local colleges and universities. He has his BA in Literature & Writing Studies from CSUSM and an MFA in Poetry from CU Boulder. Adam grew up in Fallbrook having moved here with his family in 1999, and he returned after school to raise his two daughters alongside his partner.
The wide world of art has been a regular feature throughout Adam's life, and whether he is making music, writing, or performing poetry, working in the garden, or crafting with clay, he advocates for play and experimentation as a means to cultivate and understand our own processes. Adam believes the creative act is a powerful one--no matter the medium--and to harness our creative potential is to better ourselves and our community.
