Beginning Crochet with Arida

Curious about how to make those cute stuffed animals, cozy blankets, or classic granny squares you see all over social media? Join artist and instructor Arida Dhanaswar for a relaxed and beginner-friendly dive into the wide world of crochet!

This six-week class is perfect for anyone who’s never picked up a hook—or who’s returning to crochet after a break. Each week, you’ll build your skills with new techniques and project ideas designed to boost your confidence and creativity. You’re also welcome to bring a personal project if you already have one in mind.

We’ll be working with worsted weight (#4) yarn in cotton, cotton blend, or acrylic. Please bring your own yarn and supplies (see the supply list below). We've included suggested links, or you can shop at your favorite local craft store.
