Painting demo and portrait/still life class in a comfortable non-judgemental setting!

Oils, acrylics & pastel artists welcome! If you want to paint in color then the secret to success depends on successful color solutions. In this class you will gain a better understanding of how to apporach and solve color problems as well as specific problems of your chosen medium.

This class will introduce the ancient medium of encaustic painting to beginning and experienced artists.  The basics of working with encaustic paint will be covered, from how to prepare a panel for painting to how to make your own medium, as well as additional techniques.

A class for all skill levels: This class will focus on contemporary watercolor and liquid acrylic approaches including the “dropped in color” technique, which incorporates luminosity and brilliance in painting.

Free public event to meet artist and instructor Igor Koutsenko. Igor will be doing a live portrait painting demonstration. Come and enjoy coffee, snacks and the talent of this amazing artist.

Allow Terry Isaac to aid you in bringing your artwork to life. Terry will provide you with the tools to be able to identify and capture detail in your paintings.

In this 5 day workshop, students will be guided through multi-theme paintings while learning to create powerful unifying compositions.

 Nancy Collins keeps expanding her knowledge on mixing colors. She will help you understand these aspects of color and how to create WOW in your paintings.

Ted Nuttall is the quintessential people watcher, a habit that has engendered an intuitive ability to capture, in his paintings, the quiet, underlying character of his subjects.

In this class students will create an illustrated journal which records their thoughts, daily travel adventures, nature observations, dreams and/or ideas for projects.

Fealing will teach you how to relax and enjoy as you discover the spontaneity so unique to watercolor.
