A class for the pure beginner:  Experience the process of watercolors in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. This class will focus more on the process rather than product which will allow you to easily develop painting skills.

Pastels are an exciting and immediate medium, which incorporates both drawing and painting simultaneously. Explore techniques and gain drawing skills in a relaxed atmosphere.

This class will focus on contemporary watercolor and liquid acrylic contemporary approaches of painting. Surface textures, collage, pours, mark making, and batik methods will be explored along with conceptual compositional approaches.

 Nancy Collins keeps expanding her knowledge on mixing colors. She will help you understand these aspects of color and how to create WOW in your paintings.

The goals of this class will be to simplify and avoid overworking.  We will use contour drawing to concentrate on interconnecting shapes.  We will use direct painting, using as few over washes as possible. For intermediate to advanced painters.
